Cindy has Bachelor of Science and Master of Audiology degrees from the University of Auckland, NZ; and a Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University, Pennsylvania, USA. She is a full Audiologist member of the New Zealand Audiological Society (NZAS). She holds a NZAS Certificate of Clinical Competency and a current NZAS practicing certificate. She has been a practicing clinical Audiologist since 1997, and has worked in a variety of public and private clinical practices in Australasia, mostly in the lower North Island. She established her own practice in order to deliver audiology service in a manner that aligned with her values and beliefs. 

Cindy will meet you in one-to-one and/or small group settings in her clinic room. Her practice approach is a personal focus on your individual needs in a relaxed manner. She encourages Family Centered Care involving your family members or significant others to consider your communication issues, to establish family centered shared goals and communication strategies to further improve the quality of your life. Cindy is a persistor who will keep working with you until your goals are achieved.

Cindy is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

Cindy has lived in Lower Hutt since 2005 with her husband who is a doctor at the Hutt Hospital, and her two school age children. In her spare time she has many interests particularly in music, arts and sustainable living. Cindy is a cellist in local community orchestras. Her two children provide much delight and keep her busy with their interests.
